NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS - SEPTEMBER 7, 2023 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING, 5:35 P.M.
Amending Title 16 Subdivision Regulations – A staff request to amend Title 16 Subdivision Regulations to comply with SB174 Local Land Use and Development Revisions, recently passed State legislation that requires updates to the code and a more streamlined review process. Associated sections of Title 17 will also be amended to ensure consistency; including 17.02 Administration and 17.07 Definitions
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS - AUGUST 22, 2023 COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING, 5:30 P.M.
1. Consideration of amendments to Cache County Code, Title 16 and Title 17 and other potential County Code sections, required by the adoption of Ord. 2023-30, to update definitions and requirements related to 'Developable Acreage' and 'Sensitive Areas - Nondevelopable' for determining subdivision density, and to define standards for private roads, utilities and exceptions for structures in geologically sensitive areas.
The public hearings will be held at the Council’s regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 starting at 5:30 pm in the Historic Courthouse Council Chambers, 199 North Main, Logan, Utah. The full agenda for the County Council meeting will be posted on the County website.

COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL PLAN UPDATE
Cache County adopted the Comprehensive General Plan Update on February 28, 2023 for the areas within unincorporated Cache County, with strategic plans and studies (Appendices B, C and D) to support regional collaboration between the County and partner municipalities.
The General Plan synthesizes data and public feedback to describe current conditions and envisions the future of unincorporated Cache County, and how the County can coordinate growth, development and land preservation with municipalities.
This General Plan meets the required State laws for general planning for land use, and includes the following supplemental Appendices to support Countywide Planning efforts: The Regional Collaboration Plan, Urban and Rural Area Assessment, and Cost of Services.
