NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Comprehensive General Plan Update (February 14, 2023, 5:30 PM)
Cache County is considering adopting the proposed Cache County General Plan (Plan) for the areas within Unincorporated Cache County. The Plan synthesizes data and public feedback to describe current conditions and envisions the future of Unincorporated Cache County. This General Plan meets the required State laws for general planning for land use, and includes the following supplemental Appendices: The Regional Collaboration Plan, Urban and Rural Area Assessment, and Cost of Services. The County Council will receive comments from the public during their respective public hearing(s), followed by potential action on the proposed General Plan adoption.
Public comments will be provided pursuant to the County Councils' rules of conduct. The meeting will be held at the County Council's scheduled meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, starting at 5:30 pm in the Historic Courthouse Council Chambers, 199 North Main, Logan, Utah.

Two Public Hearings to be held at the Cache County Council's scheduled meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, starting at 5:30 pm in the Historic Courthouse Council Chambers, 199 North Main, Logan, Utah.
1. Amendments to Title 17, General Definitions ‘Density’ and ‘Developable Acreage’
Amending the County Land Use Code as required by the adoption of Ord. 2023-02 amending the definition and requirements applicable to General Definitions of ‘Density’ and ‘Developable Acreage.’
2. Zone Map Amendment
Ordinance 2023-04 Hot Iron Storage Rezone – A request to rezone 8.77 acres at 501 West 4600 North (Parcel 08-108-0017), near Smithfield, from the Agricultural (A10) Zone to the Industrial (I) Zone.
The County Council will receive comments from the public during their respective public hearing(s), followed by potential action on the proposed ordinances. Public comments will be provided pursuant to the County Councils' rules of conduct.
