The Countywide Planning and Development Office (CPDO) was created in 1994 through an interlocal agreement between Cache County and the communities within the county. The mission of the Countywide Planning Office includes four main areas:

  •  Coordinate and plan land use.  (This includes professional support on land use questions, assistance with coordination between cities in the county, and the development of countywide land use guidelines.)

  • Provide an information resource system to assist local entities in meeting their planning needs.

  • Plan and coordinate with other agencies to address the transportation needs of Cache County.

  • Coordinate with cities and the unincorporated county for essential services.
