Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school, plus one (1) year of technical training or college education.  A working knowledge and ability to use GIS and mobile computing is a must.  Must have excellent English language skills including reading, writing, and speaking. Must have comprehensive computer skills and experience to include Windows, Word, and Excel.  Must be able to write effective letters and reports, have proven interpersonal skills, and ability to work with the public.  Must have strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to accurately assess data and produce reports. Must be able to traverse difficult terrain on foot and climb in and out of ditches. Must be willing to maintain a flexible working schedule, adapt to daily work demands, and be able to effectively and efficiently complete tasks with little supervision. This position will require occasional driving of a motor vehicle for county business purposes, therefore, employee must have a valid Utah Drivers’ License with fewer than two moving violations within the past 24 months, and no DUI or ARR violations within the past five years.
