The Logan-Cache Airport is currently a general aviation airport. We have plans for continued growth and expansion, with several projects underway. We are currently working toward recruiting commercial airline services to utilize the airport as well.

Mountain Ridge Helicopters

You’ve found one of the most highly sought after helicopter flight schools in the United States! Nested among the Rocky Mountains at 4,500 feet, Mountain Ridge campus can be found at the Logan-Cache Airport in beautiful Cache Valley. Here at our 10,000 square foot hangar, the next bunch of elite pilots are undergoing training.

Leading Edge Aviation

We are a Cessna Pilot Center with modern Cessna aircraft at the Logan-Cache Airport. Leading Edge runs a full service FBO with fuel, maintenance, and a certified Cessna Flight Center.

Utah State University Aviation

Utah State University has a full aviation campus at the Logan-Cache Airport. The campus consists of classrooms, flight instructor offices, a flight simulator room, and aircraft facilities. We have Diamond Aircraft, including 10 DA40 Diamond Stars and 2 DA42 Twin Stars – all equipped with Garmin G1000 glass cockpits.

New Air Helicopters

Maintains its principal base of operations at the Logan-Cache Airport. New Air is an FAA Part 135 (on demand Air Carrier), Part 137 (agricultural aircraft operator) and Part 133 (rotorcraft external load operator). New Air Helicopters is contracted with the Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife, USDA Wildlife Services, Forest Service, Department of Interior, Colorado Division of Wildlife, Wyoming Department of Fish and Game, Utah Department of Agriculture and has participated with Logan City Police in Search and Rescue efforts.
