Laws and Policies
Noxious
weed laws and policies are established for the benefit of our
environmental conditions; conditions to grow crops, raise animals,
hike, camp, fish, hunt, or whatever else we may choose to do. Everyone,
farmers, ranchers, nature lovers, basic citizens, benefits from the
control of noxious weeds.
Noxious weeds can be prickley, poisonous, hazardous, and unsightly. Furthermore, they often become so prolific they can alter native environments enough to displace desireable vegitation and wildlife rendering certain areas unuseable.
Below are links to the state and county laws and policies that affect noxious weed control here in Cache County.
