What is Victim Services?
- Help victims of crime go through the criminal justice process; from investigation thru sentencing..
- Advocate with attorneys, judges and other officials throughout the system.
- Provide emotional support and guidance before, during and after the criminal justice process.
- Assist with emergency legal advocacy.
- Secure Crime Victim Reparations funding.
- Ensure victims get the rights and services they need to recover.
- Provide case information and updates.
- Prepare victims and witnesses for testifying in court.
- Help secure emergency funds for food, clothing, shelter, transportation etc.
