Dog Licenses

According to Cache County Ordinance 2007-01, all residents living in the unincorporated area of the county who own one or more dogs are required to obtain a license for each dog and renew it every year.

ALL dog tags and licenses expire December 31st of each year.

2012 Dog Licenses will be available beginning January 1, 2012 at the Cache County Executive Office, 199 North Main Street, Logan, UT  84321.


Please fill out the application below and mail or bring into the Cache County Executive Office along with:

  • Proof of each dog’s current rabies vaccination
  • $10 licensing fee for each dog (cash or check only)
  • Zoning Clearance and a Kennel License are required if you own more than 3 dogs.

You may access dog license information including Cache County Ordinance 2007-01, Cache County Code Chapter  6.08, and the 2012 application below.

NOTE: You must live OUTSIDE the city limits in order to register with Cache County.  The County Executive's Office only licenses dogs in the unincorporated areas of the county.  If you live within your city limits, please register your dog(s) with your city or town.
